Mariah May has some bold words to say for her potential next challenge.
The AEW Women’s Champion retained her gold at AEW WrestleDream in Tacoma, Washington against Willow Nightingale in a match where May once again proved to the world that she doesn’t need anyone or anything to help her walk out with the title around her waist.
May was asked at the AEW WrestleDream post-presser conference where the AEW Women’s World Champion was asked about who she believes is next in line to challenge the Glamour.
“I line them up, I’m ready to shoot them down. I’ve really beaten everybody. Britt Baker went out and got strep throat so she didn’t have to wrestle me. Schiavone, who should I wrestle? I’m bored.”
Nightingale was expected to face Britt Baker on the October 8 edition of AEW Dynamite for a shot at May for AEW WrestleDream. It’ll be interesting to see what happens next when Baker is cleared to return.
