–Call Your Shot Gauntlet returns
Last night, the TNA Director of Authority Santino Marella was backstage talking about the Call Your Shot gauntlet match and explaining to NXT/TNA liaison Arianna Grace how the match works.
Frankie Kazarian walks up and demands to be an official participant. Santino says that Frankie can’t talk to him like that. Frankie says he’s going to find a way to be part of the World Title match one way or another. After Frankie walks away, Santino says that Frankie is already part of the match.
The Call Your Shot Guantlet will take place at part of the Countdown To Bound For Glory pre show.
-Steve Maclin vs Josh Alexander
Last week during the TNA iMPACT broadcast, Josh Alexander defeated Eric Young in a match after Sinner & Saint assisted.
Post-match, Eric Young went after Josh, and then both members of The Northern Armory came into the ring and attacked Young. Young was no match for all three men.
The cameras cut backstage to Steve Maclin laid out with his hands Bound behind his back and zip-tied. Medical staff tended to Maclin as the camera cut back to the ring where Josh and the other faction members were standing over a laid out Eric Young.
Last night during this weeks TNA iMPACT episode, Maclin called out Josh Alexander, who came out with the other members of The Northern Armory.
Josh says that he’s got more blood, sweat, and tears in that ring than anybody else. He’s had great matches that had people standing on their feet chanting his name, and literally out his body on the line so that the doors could stay open. It got him nothing because the fans turned on him as soon as he wasn’t THE top guy anymore.
Josh walks toward the ring as Sinner and Saint surround it with Josh. Josh says that he’s the longest reigning champion, while Maclin has only been champion for about a month. Maclin says he’s not checking his ego this time and attacks Josh.
All three men launch a brutal attack on Maclin, once again zip tying his hands behind his back and Josh landing a monstrous C4 Spike as Maclin’s left laid out in the ring.
The match is made official for Bound For Glory.
TNA Knockouts Tag Team Titles
-Spitfire (c) vs Rosemary & NXT star Wendy Choo
Rosemary and Choo stalked the champions during last night’s iMPACT episode.
The match was made official.
–Frankie Kazarian named Special Guest Referee of TNA World Title Match at Bound For Glory.
Following an attack on Nic Nemeth after his victory over Matt Cardona – and then being assaulted by Joe Hendry immediately after that – Frankie Kazarian revealed that he was approved as the Special Guest Referee for TNA World Title match at Bound For Glory.
While nobody knows who approved Frankie being part of this match, it certainly adds an interesting dynamic to the match and possibly the outcome of it as well.
