Sting Signs New Deal With AEW
Sting has officially retired from wrestling when he competed in his final match at AEW Revolution 2024 back in March. But, it’s not the last of the Stinger we see in AEW, at least for his likeness. Speaking with Kayfabe Friends, Sting revealed that he’s signed a new multi-year deal with AEW, a “legends deal” of sorts.
I’ve signed a multi-year deal with AEW, obviously not to wrestle anymore. It’s like a licensing deal. A legends deal, if you want to call it that. I’ll do appearances with them on and off, depending on what they want and all.
Sting’s likeness is iconic and his character being used for video games, toys and merchandise will be huge for the brand. Sting will be around for a while!
