Jerry Lawler: I Don’t Think Anybody Should Ever Retire From Professional Wrestling

Jerry Lawler comments on wrestlers retiring.

While speaking with Sportskeeda Wrestlebinge, Jerry Lawler was asked about the plans that John Cena has to run a Farewell Tour in 2025 before officially hanging up the jorts and announcing he’s retiring from the WWE with Lawler stating that he doesn’t think anybody should ever retire from professional wrestling.

“I don’t think anybody should ever retire,” began Lawler. “There’s too many things that you can do without ever using the word ‘retire.’ I use that when I hear about somebody retiring, I look for them to die pretty soon. I would never say that he’s going to retire.”

Cena announced his plans at Money in the Bank this past year and since then, many wrestlers from around the world have thrown in their name to face the Greatest of All-Time before it’s all said and done.
