Mark Henry gives his thoughts on who he would like to see in AEW’s newest faction.
The Hurt Syndicate is a faction that is led by MVP and is currently dominated by Shelton Benjamin. The rumors are that Bobby Lashley is expected to be part of it, but one name that WWE Hall of Famer Mark Henry says should be in the faction isn’t the Almighty, but a former AEW Champion.
“I think that [Powerhouse] Hobbs is tailor made for the Hurt Syndicate. Recruit him, bring him in, and tell him ‘Look, you might be facing one of us. We want to dominate the business, we want to corner the market. Let MVP talk that talk…You win, you lose some. You shake hands, the Hurt Syndicate keeps getting bigger.’ They need to get bigger, because Jon Moxley and Claudio and Wheeler Yuta, they need to recruit. And then you can have a DX vs. the Nation type of a saga in AEW, which would be really good for business.” Henry said on Busted Open Radio.
Hobbs has been cleared to return to action, he recently said that he is waiting for the opportunity to remind everybody that Hobbs is still dangerous.
