Kevin Nash: When I Heard Booker T Was Going To Be In The 2011 Royal Rumble, I Said ‘Sh*t, Not Without Me!’

Kevin Nash talks about Booker T.

During their days as part of the Main Event Mafia, the group of legends part of the group made TNA an interesting place to watch each week. However, once TNA let Booker T go from his contract, that’s when Kevin Nash knew it was time for him to go too.

“I think…I mean I worked hard there. I was in good shape. I think the Main Event Mafia thing could have been, that was money. They let [Booker T], it was a bad move to let Book go. Once Book left, I said, ‘Fuck it, I’m bolting.’ I heard Book was gonna be at that Royal Rumble, I said, ‘Shit, not without me.’ So I died my shit black, went out there…,” Nash said on his Kliq This podcast.

Both men would go on to appear in the 2011 Royal Rumble where they did not last long but made an impact with the crowd who were shocked to see two legends back in the ring.
