NXT Officials Pissed About ZARIA’s Debut Being Cut Off

ZARIA, the former DELTA made her NXT debut last night.

ZARIA’s NXT Debut

To end WWE NXT’s Tuesday episode, DELTA, now known as ZARIA, made her debut in the very final moments of the show, showing up on the stage and making her presence known heading into Sunday’s NXT Halloween Havoc.

Well, many fans didn’t get to see the actual debut due to the show being cut off right at the 10PM ET mark. Now, Fightful Select reports that NXT officials were not happy at all about the cut off.

Fightful Select’s Corey Brennan has learned that NXT was scheduled to run up until 10pm EST exactly and signed off the air after much pre-planning from those on the brand to hit their mark.
Producers became aware that the Orlando CW affiliate feed was operating on a 20 second delay, and was many CW affiliate feeds that cut off the end of the program, after officials had previously confirmed with satellite providers that the show would stay on the air until 10pm.
Officials in NXT were said to be “very upset” with the show being cut early, with one NXT source noting that “everyone who runs or has a say in the show was pissed.”
Sources that Sean Ross Sapp spoke to said that these problems had been anticipated in the weeks leading up the the CW debut as they have hard outs to get off of the air. Previously, NXT had a lot more flexibility on the USA Network.

WWE had posted the full final segment on the socials for people to see, but if you only watched NXT live on the CW, you missed it.

ZARIA is set to compete at NXT Halloween Havok, with a currently unknown opponent.
