Adam Cole: Dynamite And NXT Going Against Each Other Always Brought Out The Best In Both Places
Adam Cole reflects on the Wednesday Night Wars.
When it first premiered, AEW Dynamite went head-to-head with WWE NXT every Wednesday night and was a huge deal for pro wrestling fans all around the world who looked forward to seeing which show would bring out the best from their respective show, including former NXT World Champion, Adam Cole.
“I think it’s very exciting. I feel any time there is any kind of competition within pro wrestling, it has been nothing but a positive. When there is only one show in town, it can only do so much. I think when there are situations where people can challenge each other or go up against each other, it brings out the best in both places. It’s nothing but a good thing. It’s good for the wrestlers and fans alike,” Cole said to Scott Fishman of TV Insider.
Cole was informed by MJF on the 10/23 edition of AEW Dynamite that if Cole or Roderick Strong got three wins before Full Gear, that man would be next in like for Maxwell Jacob Friedman.
