TNA Bound for Glory 2024 Predictions
I said this on social media and I’ll say it again here – I’m very happy that the success of tickets sold and hopefully subscriptions and PPV buys us all being done WITHOUT hyping or teasing any outside surprises, which is unlike many years past. That being said, let’s get started…
Countdown To Bound For Glory pre-show
–Call Your Shot Gauntlet Match
Prediction: this is interesting because there could be some surprises that we don’t know about – either returns or debuts – but the company has been great about NOT teasing or hyping any of that.
I think this could be where we see the return of KiLynn King, who’s been on the shelf since November of last year with a bad leg injury, but that’s just me spitballing.
We know that Frankie Kazarian is the #1 entrant, and AJ Francis will be the #20 entrant. Outside of that, I’d love to see either Jake Something or Hammerstone pick up the victory. It’s time to pull the trigger on the big guys.
Knockouts Tag Team Match
-Ash By Elegance & Heather Reckless vs Xia Brookside & Brinley Reece
Prediction: I don’t really care, but I’ll go with Heather and Ash. I had a feeling that they’d be officially teaming up due to the lack of depth in the Knockouts tag team division currently.
—MAIN SHOW—
TNA Digital Media & International Heavyweight Titles -PCO (c) vs Matt Cardona
Prediction: I want to see both of these titles done away with and merged into one new title – called it the TNA International or the TNA TV title – but I’m going with Cardona as far as the match goes. Let’s see Cardona run wild for awhile.
TNA Tag Team Titles – Full Metal Mayhem
-The System (c) vs ABC vs Hardy Boys
Prediction: I’d love to see the Hardy’s and The System put over ABC and let them get the titles back, but my heart tells me the Hardy’s take this, especially going into Fayetteville, North Carolina a few weeks later.
TNA X Division Title
-Mike Bailey (c) vs El Hijo Del Vikingo
Prediction: Vikingo is allegedly sticking around TNA for a bit. Whether that’s true or not, TNA should grow a pair and flip the title to him and let him defend it all over. I’m going with Vikingo.
TNA Knockouts Tag Team Titles -Spitfire (Jody Threat & Dani Luna) (c) vs Rosemary & NXT star Wendy Choo
Prediction: New champs. Rosemary is relevant again and Wendy Choo is from NXT, so they’ll likely take the titles over to NXT tv for a few matches or events. The Knockouts tag team division is pretty failing right now, so until they get some more teams let them be defended elsewhere.
-Moose vs Mike Santana
Prediction: Santana, and it’s not even close. This is one of the matches I’m most looking forward to on the show. Santana is a great all around performer and will be spotlighted here. Moose will do a great job putting him over, and then Santana should absolutely be in the World Title picture very quickly.
-Josh Alexander vs Steve Maclin
Prediction: Steve Maclin goes over. I have a feeling Eric Young will return after being beaten down by The Northern Armory and help
Maclin get one over on Josh. This is one of the matches I’m most anticipating for the night.
TNA Knockouts World Title
-Jordynne Grace (c) vs Masha Slamovich
Prediction: Masha Slamovich gets the job done and finally wins the “big one”, something she failed to do 2 years ago in the same scenario.
Honestly, it seems like pretty common knowledge/strong speculation right now that Grace is out/headed to WWE once her contract is up in January. Masha is someone who can absolutely lead this company and be the face of it going forward.
TNA World Title
Special Guest Referee: Frankie Kazarian
-Nic Nemeth (c) vs Joe Hendry
Prediction: This one is harder to predict than most due to all the possible factors, but I’ll give it a shot.
Nic Nemeth retains the World Title after he turns heel (bad guy), Frankie teases a cash in but changed his mind, and then we find out that JBL was behind Kazarian being placed in the match to begin with. It turns out JBL, Nemeth, and Frankie are working together – another huge hill for Hendry to climb and get even more over throughout the next few months when he gets a rematch at Hard To Kill in January.
