Ilia Topuria does the unthinkable!

Ilia Topuria vs. Max Holloway headlined UFC 308 for the UFC Featherweight Championship. Topuria came into this fight defending the gold for the first time after knocking out long-time champion Alexander Volkanovski. Now, he had another tough test against current BMF Champion and former Featherweight Champion, Max Holloway.
Holloway has never been knocked out in his career, and only ever knocked down once. But, Ilia Topuria has the magic touch and that all changed. After two competitive rounds that seemed to be leaning towards the challenger, or even 1-1. But, the judges didn’t matter. In the third round, Ilia Topuria landed a bomb that dropped Max Holloway and the follow up shots finished the job.
After the fight, he faced off with former champion Alexander Volkanovski and seemed to be acceptant of a rematch between the two down the line.
