Nic Nemeth Retains TNA World Title Over Joe Hendry At TNA Bound For Glory

I believe.

Nic Nemeth vs. Joe Hendry

In the co-main event of TNA Bound For Glory, Nic Nemeth put his TNA World Title on the line against the red-hot Joe Hendry. But, Frankie Kazarian was appointed the special guest referee. Frankie won the Call Your Shot gauntlet earlier in the night to earn himself a title match whenever he wanted, so fans were on edge waiting to se if Kazarian would find an opportunity.

As the two battled back and forth, both men were down at one point and Frankie teased a cash-in, but he didn’t do it. He also fast-counted Joe Hendry being pinned, but Joe kicked out. Then, while Nemeth was down and Joe was out of the ring, Frankie went to cash in. But, John Layfield came out instead and clotheslined Frankie. He then acted as if he was going to leave, but clotheslined Joe Hendry as well.

Nemeth’s brother Ryan ran out, but he also got clotheslined. Nemeth finally got to his feet and hit the DangerZone on Hendry, but somehow he kicked out. Another DangerZone followed a super kick and Nick Nemeth retained.
