Hulk Hogan: Screenwriter Scott Silver Said My Biopic Was The Best Thing He Had Ever Written
Hulk Hogan is at it again.
While appearing on the PBD Podcast, Hulk Hogan was asked about a biopic film of his career that had never happened. It was first announced in 2019 that the film would be for Netflix and that they had Chris Hemsworth who was cast to play the movie’s star.
However, it never happened and Hogan explained why in his fashion.
“[Netflix] kinda like missed a beat in the contract,” Hogan revealed. “There was a payment that wasn’t placed at the right. The script was amazing. Actually, Scott Silver who wrote the script [for] ‘The Joker’ stuff, ‘[The] Wolf of Wall Street,’ a bunch of other movies, he said, ‘This is the best thing I’ve ever written.’ And when I read it, I went, ‘Oh my god, this is really good.'”
It was recently announced in August that Matt Damon and Ben Affleck were planning on making a movie based on the trial that Hogan was part of with the now-defunct website, Gawker.
