Private Party Wins AEW Tag Team Championships
And New!
Young Bucks vs. Private Party
Private Party have been in AEW since the early days. Yet, they’ve never won ‘the big one’. Even losing to The Young Bucks at WrestleDream, they wanted another chance. Matt and Nick Jackson agreed for one more shot, but, if Private Party lose, they break up as a team forever. High stakes matchup for all involved.
The Bucks caught Private Party off guard early on and it seemed like they couldn’t get on the same page. Quen even accidentally hit Kassidy in the head with a ring bell, and busted him open. The Young Bucks were rolling and it didn’t seem like it was ever going to stop. Then, Isiah Kassidy made his way back into the match and started to fire up! Both teams were going back and forth in what was a high octane match. Then, Okada happened. Kazuchika Okada came out while the referee was distracted and tombstones Marq Quen on the ramp. Kassidy was alone, he was hurt, but somehow, he stayed alive.
Isiah Kassidy was all but done, but, Quen made his way back down to the ring for the save! In the end, Gin and Juice was all it took and Private Party are the NEW AEW Tag Team Champions!
