Tommy Dreamer On WWE ID Program: The WWE Has Been Planning This Since I Ran Developmental In 2004
Tommy Dreamer opens up about WWE’s newest program.
Earlier this month, the WWE announced their new ID Program which would proceed to give various wrestling schools run by WWE performers a more direct pathway to the promotion
This, however, has been a plan for the WWE since the year 2004 according to ECW Legend, Tommy Dreamer who opened up about it this week when he worked with WWE’s developmental program.
“This has been talked about within the WWE when I ran the developmental system in about 2004,” Dreamer continued. “It’s probably taken 20 years to get this going, but it’s a change in the right direction for a lot of different reasons.” – Dreamer said on Busted Open Radio.
The new recruitment program could very well change the way things work on the independent scene. We will keep you updated as we learn more about this developing situation with the WWE’s new ID program.
