Bandon Moreno Felt Bad Following Win Against Amir Albazi

Brandon Moreno may be the true NMF.

Moreno vs. Albazi

Stephen ‘Wonderboy’ Thompson has the ‘Nicest Mother F-er” title, but he may need to give that crown to Brandon Moreno. At UFC Edmonton this past Saturday, Brandon Moreno defeated Amir Albazi in the main event, which was a dominant decision victory. In the bout, Moreno badly damaged Albania’s eye, causing a cut and swelling.

Now, while speaking on The Ariel Helwani Show, Moreno’s coach Sayif Saud revealed that Brandon felt bad after seeing the damage he caused.

No, I just, look, Brandon, this is like the other side of Brandon that people don’t realize, I guess they do know it, that’s why people love him. We’re getting ready to go, post fight he’s getting ready to talk to Chiesa and Din, and he looks at me and goes “Man, I feel bad. Do you see his face? I feel bad.” And, you know, Albazi, his dreams are shattered, you know? Who knows what happens for him, but, I mean, he’s had such a long road to come back. All the injuries and all the stuff he dealt with and everything he went through, you know, you’re seeing another guys dreams just kind of get crushed. And that’s the name of the game, you know, he just kind of looked like he was a step behind, putting it nicely from the start.

Whether in victory or defeat, Brandon Moreno has always been respectful of his opponents and this is another example of that.
