Henry Cejudo is currently on a 2 fight losing streak since returning in 2023 from his 3 year hiatus. He lost to Aljamain Sterling and current champion Merab Dvalishvili. Now, he’s looking to hop back in and snap that losing streak. But, against who?
Marlon ‘Chito’ Vera recently called out Henry for a fight and said his wrestling isn’t a worry, because he’ll just punch him in the face. Now, Henry has responded on his ‘Pound 4 Pound’ podcast with Kamaru Usman, revealing that Chito isn’t the only name on his mind.
100%, 100%. But he knows man. When it comes to this competition, he doesn’t come through, he doesn’t come through. I’ve asked for that fight for Chito. But, it’s not only Chito Vera, it’s Brandon Royval, man! He wants a piece of the triple c. But, Chito ‘sorry ass’ Vera, whether it’s Brandon ‘he gets this close and never does it’ or whether it’s Song Yadong ‘your long dong’. But, I will say this, a fight that I would really want ahead of all those dudes, why don’t we do Sean O’Malley here in Phoenix? I think there’s already animosity, the fact that he came on the podcast, did us dirty, I’m going to say “did us dirty” Kamaru, I did him dirty when he was doing that interview, but whatever dude. Chito Vera, Brandon Royval, Song YaDong, freaking, they can all get it.
