Adam Cole: I Never Had Any Discussion With WWE About Bringing Me In To Be A Manager On Raw Or SmackDown
Adam Cole never heard about any new roles.
During his time with the WWE, Adam Cole was a huge piece to the formula of black and gold NXT where he was a former NXT World Champion, a former NXT North American Champion, and a former NXT Tag Team Champion alongside the Undisputed Era. However, there were rumors running that Cole would be brought up to the main roster to change his role to a manager, something Cole said he never got told of.
“I truly do mean this. Pro wrestling is wild and I know there are discussions that go that not all of us hear about. No one ever personally told me, ‘Hey, we want to bring you to Raw or SmackDown to be a manager.’ I’m not saying that was never discussed amongst people without my knowledge. I certainly think it’s possible, but as far as them bringing me into a room and saying, ‘We want to keep you, but we want to use you as a manager,’ I never had that discussion,” said Cole to James Stewart on Stick To Wrestling.
Cole recently returned from injury to All Elite Wrestling where he and Roderick Strong are looking to get three wins first to face MJF at AEW’s Full Gear PPV event.
