Charles Oliveira Wants The BMF Title For Legacy
Oliveira as BMF Champion? Possibly!
Oliveira vs. Holloway
Charles Oliveira is gearing up to fight Michael Chandler this upcoming Saturday at UFC 309 on November 16 in Madison Square Garden. But, following that bout, is BMF gold in Charles’ future?
Max Holloway, who just lost to Ilia Topuria at UFC 308 for the Featherweight Title, has declared he’s moving up to Lightweight permanently. This means the BMF gold is back in the Lightweight division as well and Charles wants it.
Charles and Max have fought in 2015, where Max won via TKO after injury in the first round. Now, speaking to Mike Heck of MMA Fighting, Charles let it be known that he’s not opposed to taking on Holloway again and challenging for the BMF Title.
I’m about legacy, that’d be great. Why not? As I’m talking about [legacy], I mean, being the BMF champ would be gigantic for that.
Before thinking about gold, Do Bronx has Michael Chandler standing in his way in just six days.
