On November 8th, 2024 WWE aired the 1,316th episode of Smackdown live in Buffalo New York inside Key Bank Center.
Note: This review will be shorter then normal as it be the last few mins of the match.
-Kicking off this week’s Smackdown with Roman Reigns looks to speak but before he can Jey Uso’s music hits and he makes his way down to the ring. Jey tells Reigns that there’s a lot of misunderstanding going on and asks him to hear out Sami Zayn.
-Zayn’s music then hits and he makes his way out. He says he wants to address what happened between them, The Usos & The Bloodline at Crown Jewel. He makes it clear that him landing the Helluva Kick on Reigns was an accident and says the only reason he appeared on the show was for Jey. He tells Reigns that it’s been a long time since they’ve been in the ring together, and while he’s thought about all the things he would say to him, it was special being in the ring with him and The Usos again. He says it took him back to a special time in his career and with family then says he still has a soft spot for the time they shared together in The Bloodline. He says that he knows himself, The Usos & Reigns to some level share that special feeling with him and says he knows that’s the case because Reigns is in the ring listening to him.
-Zayn tells Reigns that people think the opposite of love is hate, but the truth is that the opposite of love is indifference. He says that he doesn’t think Reigns is indifferent to him, but rather loves him. He says he sees Reigns smirking and reminiscing about the old days, then says he’ll put the ball in Reigns’ court. He says he’ll leave if that’s what Reigns wants and never get involved in Bloodline business, but says he doesn’t think Reigns wants that. He says he thinks Reigns wants to fight side by side with him and The Usos, then says if that’s what Reigns wants then he’ll do it. Zayn says he needs Reigns to do one thing for him before he fights with him and that’s to apologize.
-Reigns checks with Zayn to make sure that he wants him to apologize to him but Zayn clarifies that he wants Reigns to apologize to Jey. Reigns then stands next to Jey and tells him that he’s sorry for letting Jey waste his time with Zayn. He says Zayn isn’t family and tells Jey to quit wasting his time because it’s about Solo Sikoa at the end of the day.
-As a frustrated Zayn heads to the back, Jacob Fatu appears on the Titan Tron and tells Reigns that Sikoa will talk with him on his own time.
-After the break we see Reigns storming backstage as Jimmy follows behind him. Jey runs into them and tells Reigns that he asked one thing and that was to hear out Zayn. Reigns brushes him off for questioning him and Jey says if Reigns talks like that to him again then he’s out like he’d said he’d be. Jimmy makes it clear that he isn’t impressed with Reigns & Reigns asks if he’s questioning him too.
