WWE Raw Results & Review (November 11th, 2024)

On November 11th, 2024 WWE aired the 1,642nd episode of Raw live in Grand Rapids Michigan inside Van Andel Arena.

Note: This review will be shorter then normal as it be the last few mins of the match.

-Kicking off this week’s Raw with World Heavyweight Champion Gunther says following his loss to Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes at Crown Jewel and being unable to win the Crown Jewel Title, he doesn’t look at the past but rather ahead to his World Heavyweight Title match against Damian Priest at Survivor Series.

-Priest’s music hits and he makes his way down to the ring. Priest says he wants to hear what GUNTHER has to hear what he has to say about him to his face, and GUNTHER begins to speak. Priest cuts him off and suggests what Gunther is about to say about where he comes from. He says when he stepped in the ring with Gunther for the 1st time at SummerSlam, he got what people said about him being intimidating in the ring. He says Gunther’s vibe started to fade after he became World Heavyweight Champion and even more so after losing to Cody Rhodes at Crown Jewel. Priest says he knows the old Gunther is gone because if he were still the same man, he’d take a swing at him right now.

-Priest offers Gunther a free shot at him but Gunther doesn’t. Priest reiterates that he won’t because he knows that he’d beat him down. Ludwig Kaiser then interrupts Priest and asks what they’re doing here. He reminds Priest that Gunther has already beaten him at SummerSlam then tells him to get out of the ring and save himself from Gunther. He says the next time Priest stands in the ring with Gunther the result will be the same.

-Gunther cuts off Kaiser but Kaiser continues running his mouth. Priest then clocks Kaiser and stares down Gunther before clotheslining Kaiser out of the ring. Gunther exits the ring and slowly retreats up the ramp with Kaiser.

-Backstage Cathy Kelley interviewed Iyo Ski & Kairi Sane. Sky said she is ready for her match with Liv Morgan. Sane said they had other business tonight. Kelley said they would be competing in a 6 Woman Tag Team match.

-Dakota Kai joined Kai & Sky on the set and they were all smiles. Kai spoke about how Pure Fusion Collective took months off her career. Kai it was time to show them what Damage CTRL is capable of.

-After the break A Veteran’s Day (Remembrance Day in Canada) video package aired. Footage aired of the 30th Medical Brigade checking in from Germany and saluting. They also showed a Vietnam veteran in the crowd and the fans applauded.

-Backstage Kofi Kingston thanked R Truth for helping him out with The Final Testament. He also apologized for not helping him out. Kingston mentioned that Xavier Woods didn’t want to help. Woods showed up and asked what they were talking about.

-Pete Dunne interrupted and took issue with Truth referring to him as Butch. Kingston spoke up on behalf of Truth. Woods said this had nothing to do with him and wasn’t happy with Kingston challenged Dunne to a match. Truth told Kingston good luck in his match with Pete then said it’s Butch that you have to worry about

6 Woman Tag Team Match
Pure Fusion Collective (Shayna Baszler, Sonya Deville & Zoey Stark) vs. Damage CTRL (Dakota Kai, Kairi Sane & Iyo Sky)

Shayna Baszler cinches in the Kirifuda Clutch on Dakota Kai but Iyo Sky tags herself in.

Baszler then cinches in the Kirifuda Clutch on Sky but Kai breaks the hold and Sky hits Over The Moonsault to her for the win.

Winners: Damage CTRL

-We get video package that recaps The OG Bloodline reuniting to fight off Solo Sikoa’s version of the Bloodline.

-Backstage Jey Uso spoke with Sami Zayn about saving the group on Friday. Jimmy Uso shows up and then Zayn turned away. Jimmy asked what Sami’s problem was. Jey tried to get them on the same page.

-Jimmy said they need a 5th member for War Games. Jey said they don’t have friends on Monday or Friday. Zayn said he might know someone. Zayn told Jey that he would text him. After Zayn walks away, Jey told Jimmy to be nice.

Pete Dunne vs. Kofi Kingston

Kofi Kingston sends Pete Dunne crashing out of the ring with a spinning roundhouse kick.

Xavier Woods hits him with a clothesline while the referee is inadvertently distracted by Kingston.

A frustrated Kingston gets in Woods’ face and dumps Dunne back inside the ring.

When Kingston gets back inside after arguing with Woods Dunne is waiting with The Bitter End for the win.

Winner: Pete Dunne

-After the match Woods helps Kingston to the back but Kingston pushes Woods away and they continue to argue.

-Highlights aired of Women’s Tag Team Champions Bianca BelAir & Jade Cargill being pulled out of last week’s battle royal by Liv Morgan & Raquel Rodriguez & Iyo Sky eventually winning the match to earn a Women’s World Title match.

-Judgment Day were speaking in their clubhouse. Finn Balor took issue with Dominik Mysterio coming up short in the #1 Contenders Fatal 4 Way last week and allowing Damian Priest to earn a title shot. Mysterio mentioned that Balor was nowhere to be found.

-Balor said he was focusing on the World Tag Team Titles, just as Liv Morgan told him. Mysterio said he beat Priest and told Balor not to get upset because he did something that Balor couldn’t do. Balor got in Mysterio’s face until the other members of the faction pulled them apart.

-Balor spoke of being a team player and said Mysterio & Carlito could face the War Raiders next week on behalf of him & JD McDonagh. Mysterio said he would go make it official. Carlito was worried about it. Balor told the remaining members of the faction that they were one big happy family.

– Jey Uso could be seen speaking with Rey Mysterio in the background.

-After the break Bianca BelAir & Jade Cargill spoke during a promo video about their upcoming Women’s Tag Team Title match.

-Bronson Reed says Seth Rollins is a competitor and proved that when he defeated him at Crown Jewel but he isn’t a competitor but rather a monster. He says he will take out anyone who stands in the way of him taking down Rollins for good and calls him to the ring.

-Rollins’ music hits and he runs down to the ring. He fires off right hands on Reed but Reed hits him with a splash and gets him up on one shoulder. Rollins escapes and sends him crashing into the ring post then clears the announce desk. Reed superkicks Rollins on top of the announce desk then ascends up one of the nearby barricades. Before he can fly, Rollins tackles him. Security then runs down to the ring to separate them but Reed fights his way through them and sends Rollins crashing into the corner. They continue to brawl but security gets them separated once again. Rollins breaks free and rains down right hands on Reed but security holds him back. Reed then breaks free and flies to level several security guards as officials run out to separate them and Adam Pearce tries to get Rollins calmed down.

-Highlights aired from during the break of the brawl between Rollins & Reed that continued.

-Backstage Seth Rollins yells at Adam Pearce about wanting a rematch. Pearce got worked up and told him he’d had enough and he had his match.

-Sami Zayn entered the room after Pearce left and made a pitch to Rollins about being the 5th member of the WarGames team. Zayn said he’d looked up and down the rosters on Raw and Smackdown and there was nobody else.

-Rollins looked like he was contemplating and then said I think you’re out of your damn mind. Rollins said he knows who Roman Reigns is and he’s shocked that anyone would stand next to him especially after what he put Zayn through. Rollins said he respects Zayn but the answer is no

Damian Priest vs. Ludwig Kaiser

After the break Damian Priest sends Kaiser crashing into the mat.

Kaiser rolls Priest up but Priest kicks out. Kaiser then rocks Priest with a kick but Priest responds with a clothesline to him and follows it up with South Of Heaven for the win.

Winner: Damian Priest

-After the match Gunther appears on the entrance ramp and stares down Priest before heading to the back.

-Highlights aired of Bron Breakker & Sheamus fighting to a 3 Minute draw on Speed then fighting afterward.

Cathy Kelley spoke with Intercontinental Champion Bron Breakker & he said he’s looking to expand his trophy case. Breakker said that as the fastest WWE wrestler in history, the Speed Title interests him. Breakker complained about Sheamus getting in his way.

-Sheamus walked onto the set and said Breakker has a lot of arrogance. Sheamus said it was disrespectful because he’s been with the company for 15 years compared to Breakker’s 15 minutes. Sheamus recalls putting his foot on John Cena’s chest when he won a world title and said that was arrogance.

-Sheamus challenged Breakker to put the 1 title on the line that has eluded him. Breakker said he didn’t listen to a word that Sheamus said but he’d give him a title shot because nothing would please him more than kicking his old ass. Sheamus told him to shine up the title because he’s taking it home.

-Jimmy Uso approached Breakker after Sheamus left. Jimmy asked Breakker if he had a second and said he wanted to talk to him. Breakker said he had a second.

-After the break The Miz was walking backstage when he was greeted by The Final Testament. Miz told Karrion Kross that he was going to Adam Pearce’s office to ask for a leave of absence. Kross said Miz gave him nothing. He questioned if The Wyatt Sicks just let him go.

-Miz said he settled his business with tThe Wyatt Sicks. Miz said he’s a better man now and they let him go. Miz told Kross that he should move on. Kross brought up Paul Ellering and blamed The Miz.

-Kross asked if Miz remembered when he said he was going to break his legs. Kross had AOP grab Miz and bring him to the stage and then to the ring. Scarlett got a mic and handed it to Miz. Kross said The Miz was lying to him and added that his story wasn’t adding up. Kross shoved Miz down and asked him where the Wyatts were.

-The Wyatt Sicks entrance theme started then they appeared on the ring apron. They entered the ring and went face 2 face with The Final Testament.

-The Miz slams a chair over the back of Rowan. Howdy looked at Kross and laughed. The Final Testament members worked over the Wyatt Sicks with help from Miz as he had some blood on his eye. Kross closed out the beatdown by slamming Howdy to the mat.

-Kross & Miz shared a hug and then they left the ring together. Howdy crawled over and leaned on the bottom rope. Howdy looked at Kross and laughed as Kross was backing up toward the stage.

-Backstage Cathy Kelley approached Seth Rollins as he was leaving the building and asked him about his match with Bronson Reed. Rollins told her to give him a minute and looked into the parking lot.

-Solo Sikoa & Jacob Fatu stood in front of a car that Tama Tonga & Tonga Loa were in. Sikoa made his pitch to get Rollins on their WarGames team. Rollins said he will never team with Roman Reigns and the next time he’s in the ring with him it will be to Stomp his head. Sikoa got excited but then Rollins told him that he will never team with a wannabe Reigns.

Women’s Tag Team Titles Match
Bianca BelAir & Jade Cargill (c) vs. Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan & Raquel Rodriguez

Ms Money In The Bank Tiffany Stratton & Women’s Champion Nia Jax run down to the ring.

Stratton distracts the referee as Jax hits a Samoan Drop to Jade Cargill on the apron.

Raquel Rodriguez follows it up with the Texana Bomb and goes for a pin but Bianca BelAir breaks the fall.

Naomi appears and takes down Jax & Stratton but Morgan levels her and tags in.

BelAir hits her with KOD for the win.

Winners & Still Women’s Tag Team Champions: Bianca BelAir & Jade Cargill (STILL CHAMPIONS!!!!)

-After the match Jax clocks Cargill & BelAir from behind. Iyo Sky runs down to the ring and takes down Jax and Stratton before Cargill & BelAir clothesline Rodriguez out of the ring. Cargill, BelAir, Sky & Naomi then stand tall in the ring.
