Charles Oliveira Reflects On First Chandler Fight, Says He Has Fire Power In His Hands

Charles Oliveira and Michael Chandler go at it for a second time this Saturday at UFC 309. This is the second time these two fought, as they faced each other in 2021, with Oliver standing tall.

Charles won the bout, but he was almost beaten in the first round the Chandler had him hurt bad several times. But, he survived and got a TKO of his own in round 2. Now, Charles sat down with Daniel Cormier on his YouTube Channel, where he asked Charles if he felt like he was about to lose the fight in the early going. Charles explained that it isn’t about how much you get hit, it’s about how much you can take. Evidently, he can take a lot.

It doesn’t really matter how much you get hit, it’s how much you can take, because I got fire-power in my hands. They know. I’ve shown it once, I’ve shown it twice, three times, they know this. And what matters is how much I can take, and the problems when I get back at you, and you’re going to see it.
