Michael Chandler Agrees There Should Be A Promotion To Fight Internet Trolls

Who’s brave enough to step up?

Online Trolls

In this day and age, online trolls are commonplace. From regular people, to celebrities, athletes and basically everyone, trolls are online to hate and get after you. For UFC’s Michael Chandler, trolls are pretty common. Especially recently, while he waited for a Conor McGregor fight that never happened.

Recently, Michael sat down with Nina Drama, where he was asked if he believes there should be a promotion to solely fight trolls, and he thinks that would be awesome, but he does enjoy his haters.

Yeah, I mean, that would be awesome! Although, I enjoy it. I mean, it’s all part of it. But, people know. People know. But there is no consequences, it’s like Mike Tyson said, he’s like “people have gotten way too comfortable about saying things and not getting punched in the mouth.” So, yeah. Yeah, it’s tough, but, it’s also the world that we live in, so you’ve got to improvise, adapt and overcome. I feel sorry for the next generation because it’s going to keep getting worse.

Michael Chandler won’t be stepping into the octagon with a troll on Saturday. Instead, he will co-main event UFC 309 against Charles Oliveira, one of the most dangerous guys in the Lightweight division. You can see the full card for UFC 309 here.
