Michael Chandler: Power Slap’s Here To Stay, Sorry
Michael Chandler loves Power Slap.
Power Slap
Power Slap is Dana White’s brain child of bringing slap fighting to a bigger stage. Slap fighting has been around for ages, but not as popular in America, as it is in other countries. Dana White has now brought slap fighting, under the name “Power Slap”, to the United States and has it airing for everyone to view on Rumble.
Many people are indifferent about it, having many different viewpoints and certainly lots of haters. But, while speaking to Nina Drama, Michael Chandler revealed that he actually loves Power Slap and encourages people to go see it live in person.
I love it. I, number one, anything that the UFC puts their name behind is going to be extremely successful. I’ve been to, it’s an amazing production, it’s an amazing show. Whether you agree with it, like it, think it’s horrible, think it’s awesome, go to a show and feel the slaps reverberate through your lungs and esophagus and organs, and it’s so fun.
Michael Continued on to say the sport is here to stay.
It’s a very awesome experience and it’s fun, it’s going to keep growing, so, whether you like it or not, Power Slap’s here to stay, sorry.
Chandler won’t be slapping, but he will be fighting inside the UFC octagon this Saturday at UFC 309 against Charles Oliveira. You can see the full card for UFC 309 here.
