Bo Nickal Believes He Could Sell Out UFC In State College Alone
Bo Nickal back in Penn Sate?
UFC In The Bryce Jordan Center?
Bo Nickal picked up a win at UFC 309 over Paul Craig via Unanimous Decision. Everyone thought we’d see the wrestling of Bo Nickal versus the grappling of Paul Craig. Instead, both men stood for the full 15 minutes and boxed, as the fight never touched the ground.
Following UFC 309, Bo Nickal was up to speak at the post-show press conference to talk about his win, During the presser, Bo was asked if UFC running a show in State College was a possibility, and Bo said absolutely. Bo, who trains in State College, Pennsylvania, was a wrestler for the Penn State wrestling team throughout college. The Bryce Jordan Center is the arena in which the wrestling team preforms, and Bo would like to go there.
Nickal said he believes he has the pull in State College to sell out the Bryce Jordan Center with just his name alone, regardless of what the undercard looked like. UFC has never ran in State College before, so it would be a new territory. UFC has not been in the state of Pennsylvania since 2019, when Justin Goethe took on Edson Barboza in Philadelphia.
