WWE NXT Results & Recap (November 19th, 2024)
Tonight’s WWE NXT takes place back at the Performance Center in Orlando, Florida.
We continue finding out who will be qualifying for the Iron Survivor Match at NXT Deadline in a few weeks. There will also be a match between Andre Chase and Ridge Holland to determine who the new number one contender will be for the NXT Champion Trick Williams. . Here to update by the minute what happens on the show tonight.
- The first match is a NXT Men’s Iron Survivor Qualifying Match between Nathan Frazer and Eddy Thorpe. Immediately, OTM (Lucien Price & Bronco Nima), Hank & Tank (Hank Walker & Tank Ledger) & The D’Angelo Family (Luca Curcifino & Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo) join the fun and watch from outside the ring. It doesn’t bother Frazier as he takes control to start the match by utilizing his speed. It cuts to a commercial break. Coming back from break, Frazer is still in control of Thorpe and hits him with a standing moonsault and gets a two count. All of the tag teams that are outside of the ring begin brawling outside and Frazer dives out of the ring and takes them all out. Thorpe takes advantage of Frazer losing focus for a moment and sends him into the apron spine first, but Frazer hits Thorpe with a neckbreaker and then hits his Phoenix splash for the victory. Frazer qualifies for the Iron Survivor match at NXT Deadline.
- Next up, is Jaida Parker against Stephanie Vaquer in a Women’s Iron Survivor Qualifying match as Parker enters the ring before heading to break. Coming back from break, a Giulia promo shows with her talking about her time in Japan and how she is ready for NXT Deadline. It then cuts backstage to Kelani Jordan saying she wants Giulia in a Iron Survivor Qualifying match. It cuts back to the ring for Vaquer’s entrance and the match begins. Parker takes control of the match early on with bodyslams, shoulder tackles, backbreaker and a variety of other powerful moves. Just as she gained control of the match, Lola Vice comes out to distract Parker as she prepared to do her running hip attack on Vaquer. Vice’s interference was just enough to distract Parker to get a superkick from Vaquer and her backbreaker for the win. Vaquer qualifies for the Women’s Iron Survivor match at NXT Deadline.
- NXT North American Champion Tony D’Angelo and Adriana Rizzo make their way to ring to prepare for D’Angelo’s match against Brooks Jensen, who is joined ringside by Shawn Spears. D’Angelo takes control with a bodyslam and uses his power to wear down Jensen early. Jensen switches the momentum with a sleeper hold to take energy away from Tony D. Once he makes it to his feet he sends Jensen out of the ring. Jensen takes control back for a moment, but is hit with a spinebuster from D’Angelo for the win.
- Shawn Spears approaches D’Angelo after the match for a handshake, but Jensen attacks D’Angelo by taking out his knee that he’s injured multiple times in his career. Spears laughs and they exit the ring.
- As Spears, Jensen and the D’Angelo family exit the ring, Dion Lennox and Brinley Reece make their way to the ring to prepare for their mixed tag team match against Ashante Adonis and Karmen Petrovic. It appears the men were going to start the match, but Petrovic and Adonis take turns tagging themselves in and out of the match until Reece rolls up Petrovic, but Petrovic kicks out. Adonis tags in and him and Lennox go at it. Adonis hits Lennox with a dropkick, then Lennox hits Adonis with a back body drop, followed by an impressive dropkick. The girls tag back in and Adonis distracts Reece by asking her to kiss him on the cheek. Instead, Reece slaps him and Petrovic takes advantage of the distraction by hitting Reece with a roundhouse kick for the victory.
- Wren Sinclair (accompanied by Charlie Dempsey) makes their way down to the ring. Zaria follows. It’s time for another Women’s Iron Survivor Qualifying Match. There wasn’t a lot to this match as Sinclair gained some momentum at the beginning, hitting Zaria with a dropkick, until Zaria clotheslines her in the corner. Sinclair hits Zaria with an elbow, but Zaria quickly retaliates with a spear followed by an F5 for the win. Zaria qualifies for the Women’s Iron Survivor Match.
- Fatal Influence (Fallon Henley, Jacy Jayne, and Jazmyn Nyx) then make their entrance to the ring. The three women brag out taking over the women’s division and that Henley’s title is the indicator. They mention how they finally ended their feud with Jordan and Henley throws out an open challenge for the title. Meta Four’s music hits and Jakara Jackson and Lash Legend begin walking to the ring, then Nikkita Lyons’ music hits and tells Legend it’s not her time and Rizzo hits Lyons from behind. Then several women beginning brawling until Tatum Paxley is left in the ring with Henley and hits her from the back and holds up the NXT Women’s North American title.
- Trick Williams’ music hits and comes out to join Booker T and Vic Joseph at the announcer’s table for commentary for the number one contender’s match between Holland and Chase. Not only is it a number one contenders match, but if Chase loses Chase U is done. Chase takes control right away with strikes on Holland. Then the momentum switches as Holland hits Chase with multiple belly-to-belly suplexes to gain back control. Duke Hudson comes out as he sees Holland begin some suspicious activity as if he was going to cheat. Chase would try everything to win this match. Powerbombs, Russian Leg sweeps, and other moves but it wasn’t enough to get the job done. Thea Hail, Hudson, and Riley Osbourne all come out to try and help Chase, but as Chase attempting a cross body from the top rope, Holland turned it into a cradle DDT. 1-2-3. Chase U is no more. Holland wins the match and is the new number one contender for Williams and the NXT Championship.
