Bobby Lashley Wins AEW Dynamite Debut, Swerve Strickland Attacks
It’s Bobby, Bitch.
Bobby Lashley Debuts
Bobby Lashley has made his official AEW debut in a tune-up match before his AEW Full Gear Match against Swerve Strickland. Tonight, Bobby took on Joe Keys and Cheeseburger in a 2-on-1 handicap match. Lashley looked dominant from the start.
Lashley took out Joe Keys to the floor, then absolutely demolished Cheeseburger with a reverse powerslam. But, Joe Keys broke up the pin. Maybe a bad idea, because Lashley then drilled Keys with a spear before locking in the hurt-lock, making Keys pass out.
Following the match, Bobby Lashley, MVP and Shelton Benjamin tried to celebrate, but Swerve Strickland’s music hit, Prince NaNa came out for the distraction and Swerve attacked from behind with a steel chain. Swerve hit Lashley with the House Call and the Swerve Stomp before leaving before Shelton could help.
Lashley and Swerve go at it this Saturday at AEW Full Gear.
