Claudio Castagnoli Destroys Darby Allin On AEW Dynamite

Claudio is unreal.

Claudio Castagnoli vs. Darby Allin

The Death Riders have been terrorizing everyone in AEW for weeks now, and one of the main targets is Darby Allin. But, it seems the Death Riders Claudio Castagnoli and Darby Allin have really had a target on each other in recent weeks. every time there’s a brawl, those two go right after one another. Now, they have the chance to full go at it in a match.

Claudio had things going his way in the early going, showing off his athleticism and even insane feats of strength as he held Darby in a Suplex position and walked up the steps with him before dumping him back into the ring. But, as time went on, Darby started to fight back.

It seemed like every time Darby started to get the upper hand, Claudio shut it right down and was back in the drivers seat. Claudio was throwing Darby against the corner, out of the ring, into the barricade, back into the ring and had poor Allin not able to catch a break. But, then he caught Claudio off guard. Darby swept Claudio off the apron and hit him with a wild suicide dive.

Darby then went for the coffin drop, but Castagnoli stopped it. Then, he tossed Darby off the top rope with a gut-wrench Suplex, in what was an insane visual. Darby then got swung head first into the steel steps before being tossed over the announcers table. Claudio then threw Darby off the announcers table, over the barricade and onto another table.

In the end, Darby just couldn’t survive much more and Claudio Castagnoli picked up the win after a nasty lariat.
