CM Punk wasn’t too fond of some matches

CM Punk made a grand return to pro-wrestling in 2021 when he joined AEW after being away from wrestling since 2014. In his time in the company, he had some great matches and moments, even winning the AEW Championship. But, apparently not every match was up to his standards.
CM Punk at down with Peter Rosenberg on Cheap Heat where he was asked if there was anyone in AEW that he didn’t get to tell a story with that he would have liked to. He said no, and even went on to say he wasted some matches.
No. I feel like I wasted some matches on some people, for sure. That is what it is. Some people understand the business and some people don’t. I think everybody here understands the business,
Punk left AEW in 2023 and roughly a month later, returned to WWE. CM Punk is currently out after a hellacious Hell In A Cell Match with Drew McIntyre.
