Orange Cassidy Beats Wheeler Yuta, Then Takes A Beating From Death Riders

Friends turned enemies.

Orange Cassidy vs. Wheeler Yuta

In pro-wrestling, heel turns and friends backstabbing friends is just normal. But, this feels different. Wheeler Yuta was the young boy to the Best Friends, the one Orange Cassidy could count on to have his back. But, the DeathRiders changed that.

Wheeler Yuta has been under the spell of Jon Moxley ever since Bryan Danielson retired and now, Orange Cassidy is going to put a stop to it. Tonight on AEW Dynamite, Orange Cassidy vs Wheeler Yuta main evented the show. Orange had Yuta reeling in the early moments, but, Yuta turned on his dirty side, he seemingly learned from the Death Riders, and started to take the fight to Orange any way he could.

As the match went on, both men went back and forth and each had their moments. But, Wheeler hit Cassidy with a cross-legged piledriver, which Orange kicked out of at the last second. This prompted Yuta to lock in Bryan Danielson’s cattle mutilation, but Orange survived that, too.

Yuta had enough and introduced a chair into the match, but was caught with a roll-up by Orange Cassidy, which allowed Orange to pick up the win.

Following the match, PAC attacked Orange, followed by the rest of the Death Riders joining in. They then duct taped Orange’s arms to his body, then continued to beat him down, leaving him laid out in the ring. The conglomeration came down as Death Riders left through the crowd.

Mark Briscoe cut the tape off of Orange, who then taunted Moxley in the crowd. Orange Cassidy vs. Jon Moxley this Saturday at AEW Full Gear for the AEW World Championship.
