On November 18th, 2024 WWE aired the 1,643rd episode of Raw live in Grand Rapids Michigan inside Van Andel Arena.
Note: This review will be shorter then normal as it be the last few mins of the match.
-Kicking off this week’s Raw with Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan welcomes fans to Monday Night Morgan and says she knows that Women’s Tag Team Champions Bianca BelAir & Jade Cargill are backstage. She says she knows that they didn’t come alone but neither did her & Rodriguez.
-Women’s Champion Nia Jax’s music hits and she makes her way down to the ring alongside Ms Money In The Bank Tiffany Stratton & Women’s Speed Champion Candice LeRae. Jax tells Rodriguez & Morgan that she doesn’t really like them, dislike them or really think about them. She then makes it clear that she doesn’t like Cargill & BelAir but BelAir’s music hits and she makes her way out alongside Cargill & Naomi. She tells Jax to do something about it if she doesn’t like her, Cargill & Naomi and says that they came with some backup as well.
-Iyo Sky’s music hits and she joins the 3 women. Morgan points out that it’s still 4 against 5 then ask who is dumb to team with them before asking who gonnas throw the 1st punch but Rhea Ripley’s music hits and she storms down to the ring. Ripley yells War Games then headbutts Morgan as the 8 other women brawl with each other.
-A video package recapped The Bloodline & The OG Bloodline brawl on Smackdown. It also showed Bronson Reed attacking Roman Reigns from behind and becoming the 5th member of The Bloodline’s team at War Games.
-Footage aired from Paul Levesque appearing onstage with Travis Scott at a Las Vegas show.
Mixed Tag Team Match
Latino World Order (Rey Mysterio & Zelina Vega) vs. American Made (Chad Gable & Ivy Nile)
Rey Mysterio trips Chad Gable & Zelina Vega hits a hurricanrana to him then sends Ivy Nile crashing out of the ring.
Mysterio connects with a springboard moonsault on Gable then goes for a pin but Gable kicks out.
Mysterio sends Gable cashing into the middle rope and dials it up for a 619 then hits a splash from the apron for the win.
Winners: Latino World Order
-After the match Creed Brothers join Gable in the ring. Julius Creed looks to help Gable up but Gable slaps him a couple of times. Brutus Creed laughs at Julius but Gable separates them.
-Liv Morgan & Raquel Rodriguez were stressed when they showed up in the Judgment Day clubhouse.
-World Tag Team Champion Finn Balor said he could take the wheel for her tonight since she had some much going on.
-Balor gave Dominik Mysterio & Carlito a pep talk about facing War Raiders. Balor told them to go for the neck then said it might just piss them off. Balor said the great Mysterio will figure it out. JD McDonagh told Balor that he needed to speak to him.
-After the break a video aired with The Miz saying it had been an emotional couple of weeks.
-Footage aired of Miz being held captive by Uncle Howdy and then turning on him to side with The Final Testament. Miz said he gave the performance of a lifetime.
-Karrion Kross stood with Miz and said he showed the world the truth. He said the Wyatts are wounded people who hurt others but they are not invincible. Kross said he’s not afraid of Uncle Howdy and said Howdy will continue to play the game that he controls.
-Highlights aired from last week’s World Heavyweight Champion Gunther & Damian Priest segment which included Ludwig Kaiser.
-Ludwig Kaiser stood backstage when Gunther showed up. Gunther told Kaiser that he doesn’t speak for him. Gunther said he wants Kaiser to make a name for himself and speak for himself. Gunther told Kaiser from now on he should stand on his own.
-Gunther told Kaiser to look in his eyes and asked if he seems the old ring general. 100% Kaiser said. Gunther and Kaiser bumped fists and then Kaiser walked away. Gunther removed his jacket.
-Damian Priest was shown seated at a table. Gunther went at him from behind. Gunther tried to hit Priest with a pipe but Priest drops him with a kick. Priest said Gunther is a general in the ring but Priest declared that he’s the king of the streets.
-Raw General Manager Adam Pearce showed up and asked what happened. Priest said he was just having a word with the champion, who could use some ice.
Intercontinental Title Match
Bron Breakker (c) vs. Sheamus
Bron Breakker lands a hurricanrana on Sheamus off the ropes then lines up for a spear.
Sheamus catches him with a knee and pins him but Breakker kicks out.
Sheamus then sets up for a Brogue Kick but Breakker intercepts him with a spear and looks to pin him.
Sheamus rolls out of the ring to avoid being pinned and Breakker follows him out.
He looks to land a spear but Ludwig Kaiser catches him with a clothesline to cause the disqualification.
Winner: No One (No Contest) (Breakker retains)
-After the match Kaiser sends Breakker crashing into the ring post and hits a running dropkick to Sheamus that sends him crashing into the ring steps.
-The Usos & Sami Zayn made their pitch to Seth Rollins to get him to join their War Games team. Jey Uso said they could put it all aside for one night. Zayn noted that Rollins put his differences aside and agreed to team with Cody Rhodes.
-Rollins told all 3 men that he would stand side by side with them but he would never stand side by side with Roman Reigns. Rollins said he would love to get Reed inside a Steel Cage and tear him apart but the potential consequence of Reigns being in charge again isn’t worth it. Rollins said he would take out Reed later in the show so that he wouldn’t make it to War Games. Rollins wished them all luck but said he’s out.
-After the break footage aired of Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes’ appearance on College GameDay.
-A Dakota Kai video aired. She spoke about missing 4 months and worrying that there wouldn’t be a place for her anymore or maybe people don’t care. She said you ask yourself if you’re good enough. She said she’s never wanted it more and she is ready.
Tag Team Match
Judgement Day (Dominik Mysterio & Carlito) vs. War Raiders (Erik & Ivar)
Ivar lands a crossbody on Dominik Mysterio and levels Carlito then connects with a senton on him in the corner and goes for a pin.
Mysterio kicks out and sends Ivar crashing into the turnbuckles.
Ivar hits an assisted bodyslam to Dominik with Erik and they hit Carlito with War Machine for the win.
Winners: War Raiders
-After the match Finn Balor & JD McDonagh attacks War Raiders and leave them laid out in the ring.
-A Wyatt Sicks video aired. Bo Dallas spoke about how the trust of the innocent is a liar’s most useful tool. Dallas said he tried to warn you but you damned yourself. Dallas said he’s sorry for what happens next. Dallas said you will lose what matters most.
-After the break a Lyra Valkyria video aired. She said she was thrown straight in the fire when she was drafted to Raw but the didn’t burn. Valkyria said she hit the ground running. She said she used to think she was like a Phoenix but is so much more. She said she doesn’t burn, she rises and she’s coming for everyone.
-Backstage Alpha Academy were walking when they encountered Kofi Kingston. Maxxine Dupri said they are excited about the New Day anniversary. Xavier Woods showed up and said they had to talk because they’ve been yelling at each other.
-Woods recalls Karrion Kross saying New Day is dead and that they were the only people who didn’t know it. Kingston told him that he needs to remember what New Day is all about. Woods took offense over Kingston saying he needed to remember.
-Otis interrupted. Woods told him to mind his own business. Woods asked what advice Otis could give to the greatest tag team of all time. Woods set up a New Day vs. Alpha Academy match for next week. Kingston didn’t look happy about it
Seth Rollins vs. Bronson Reed
Seth Rollins lands a Curb Stomp on Bronson Reed then ascends to the top rope and looks to fly.
Solo Sikoa appears in the crowd and distracts Rollins, opening the door for Reed to hit a Death Valley Driver to him.
He follows it up with a pair of sentons follow by a Tsunami for the win.
Winner: Bronson Reed
-After the match Sikoa joins Reed in the ring and holds his hand up in the air as they stand over Rollins to close out Raw.
