Misfits Boxing 19 takes place Thursday at Lusail Multipurpose Hall in Qatar. Today at the press conference, things got heated between opponents Chase Demoor and Kelz. Things started off verbally and then very quickly got physical after Kelz questioned Chase’s ability to do anything in person.
Kelz originally questioned Chase’s ability to beat any true pro fighters. Demoor replied by saying that he fought and won on Misfits Pro-Card. But, Kelz pointed out that his opponent for that card, Terrick Maven, was coming in 0-4. Kelz then said they saw each other in person and Chase didn’t do anything. This prompted Chase to stand up and walk towards Kelz before throwing water into his face.
Kelz then charged towards Demoor and grabbed him, but security immedietly jumped between and tried to separate them. Kelz grabbed Chase’s head and then fell onto a table before being pulled apart. You can see the full scuffle here.
Misfits 19 kicks off Thursday at 11:00 am ET / 8:00 am PT in the U.S. and 4:00 pm GMT in the UK on DAZN.
