Jon Jones wasting no time?

Jon Jones Return

Jon Jones recently defeated Stipe Miocic at UFC 309 to retain his UFC Heavyweight Title. Typically after wins, Jones disappears for a little bit and we don’t see him fight again for quite sometime. But, maybe this time is different? Jones has been very outspoken about his eagerness to fight Alex Pereira, despite Dana White saying Tom Aspinall should be next. Jones just wants a big pay day.

Recently, Jon Jones spoke with The Schmo, where he revealed that he’s looking to make a return in 2025, more than likely and he’s back in the gym, and in negotiations.

So right now, the UFC and I, we’re in negotiations, we’re in talks to see what happens next. I’m back in the gym, I’m training, I feel really great. The team’s support, they’re right behind me, and we’ll just be ready for whatever opportunity comes our way. There is [a dollar amount in mind], but I’m not going to discuss that publicly. We’ll just have to wait and see. … I will be competing in 2025, more than likely.

Following his win at UFC 309, Jon relects on the fight and says he’s very grateful for it all.

It’s been awesome, something feels different about this win. I feel like the whole world’s really excited about it. The UFC has elevated it to an even higher place, and I feel at the right place at the right time. I’m grateful for it all.

When Jon Jones returns, we’ll be sure to have the details right away. Stay tuned.
