Seth Rollins Beats Sami Zayn, Drew McIntyre Returns
It’s been a chaotic Monday night.
Sami Zayn vs. Seth Rollins
RAW started off with Seth Rollins, CM Punk, Sami Zayn and Jey Uso all getting into a verbal and partially physical altercation. This ended with Sami and Rollins going at it and setting up a match in the main event.
Ahead of the main event, Jey Uso was attacked and laid out backstage. Sami Zayn was frantic and asked General Manager Adam Pearce who attacked Jey, but no one knew. Sami said he thinks he knows who did it, and headed to the ring. Rollins and Zayn started to go at it in the main event and it was clear there was some aggression from Sami. He even brawled with Rollins at ringside and threw him into the ring post.
In the end, Sami Zayn grabbed a chair and threatened to hit Rollins with it, saying he knows Rollins attacked Jey Uso. Rollins said he didn’t, and told Sami to ask CM Punk. Sami then threw the chair out of the ring, which allowed Seth Rollins to take advantage and get a roll-up pin for the win.
Following the match, Rollins told Zayn to smarten up, and left. Then, Sami was attacked from behind when he was hit by a claymore kick, revealing that Drew McIntyre is back. Drew stood over Sami to end Raw.
