popular show on Complex’s YouTube Channel is ‘Sneaker Shopping’, where host Joe La Puma takes a celebrity to a sneaker shop and they talk all about shoes and at the end, the guest browses the shelves and buys some kicks. On the latest episode, UFC light Heavyweight Champion Alex Pereira joins the show at Flight Club in New York City.
Alex talked about hoe sneakers were hard to come by as a kid. His dad would buy one pair for him at the end of the year and they had to last the entire year. He used to keep his shoes in as good of shape as possible and now that rubbed off into his later years, as he still does the same. In the end, Alex spent over $2,500 on shoes and stuck to his signature black and white color-ways, as he says he doesn’t like colorful shoes. You can see the full episode below.
