Bellator Champion Patchy Mix Requests His Release
Patchy Mix is unhappy.
Release Requested
20-1 Bellator Champion Patchy Mix is waiting for a fight. When PFL acquired Bellator, their fighters came over and initially, it felt fun and exciting. But, not anymore for Mix. Usually, Patchy Mix fought multiple times per year, but in 2024, he fought one time. That’s no fault of his own, according to him.
Patchy Mix defeated Magomed Magomedov at Bellator Champions Series in May. He was set to face Leandro Higo at a November event in Paris, but event was scrapped completely. Now, Patchy is frustrated and is letting it be known on social media. He took to X to request his release from the company.
“My manager told me to hold off but haven’t heard anything from @PFLMMA @DonnDavisPFL If you are not gonna have me fight then just please release me from contract. This is not what I want but if I’m not important to the company being a multi time champ. Then let me go respectfully” he posted on X.
As of now, it’s been quite on the side of Don Davis and PFL. But, if a release is granted, we’ll keep you updated.
