AEW Dynamite
The main event of tonight’s AEW Dynamite on December 4, is Continental Classic Gold League action between Brody King and Claudio Castagnoli. There’s a tie for the lead with three points but a win here would put either man in the lead.
Of course, big, bad, Brody King was in control early. The big man has size on basically everyone in the entire tournament. But, if there’s anyone who can match power with King, it’s certainly Claudio. Known as the Swiss Superman for a reason, Claudio was bring the fight to the giant.
At one point, Brody was busted open on the bridge of the nose and Castagnoli was on a roll, even getting a near fall from a vicious uppercut. Brody King wouldn’t stay down so easily, though. These two were slugging it out like prime Heavyweight boxers.
Brody was pulling out all the stops, including a massive super-plex from the top rope and a piledriver, but he couldn’t put Claudio Castagnoli away. In the end, Claudio had to sneak a low-blow on Brody, followed by a neutralizer for the win.
Claudio earns six points to lead his league.
