ROH Final Battle
ROH Final Battle is live from the Hammerstein Ballroom on December 20, 2024. On the December 4th episode of AEW Dynamite, Chris Jericho said that on this week’s (December 5, taped on December 4) episode of ROH TV, he would reveal his Final Battle opponent for the ROH Championship.
During the taping, ROH Champion Chris Jericho had his Learning Tree segment interrupted by Matt Cardona, who challenged Jericho for Final Battle. Matt Cardona has appeared on AEW TV a few times, teaming with Cody Rhodes in the past and even facing Adam Copeland. But, this is his first time in Ring Of Honor.
This comes off the cusp of internal warfare between GCW and AEW, as AEW booked Hammerstein Ballroom right after GCW did, and some, namely EFFY, weren’t happy about it. Now, AEW has booked Cardona, who frequents GCW. You can watch the full segment tomorrow on ROH TV on HonorClub.
