Kyle Fletcher Wins Continental Classic Match On AEW Dynamite
Six points for the lead.
Continental Classic
AEW Dynamite kicked off on December 4th with the second round of the Continental Classic. The opening match of the show is Shelton Benjamin vs. Kyle Fletcher in the gold league. Both men come in with three points and the winner here would lead the table, at least for now.
With no one at ringside for either, we could get a fair fight. Or could we? The match started off hot with Kyle Fletcher in control, but as the match went on, Shelton fought back. The crowd started to get behind Benjamin, but Fletcher would put a stop to it. Suddenly, Shelton really started to fire up and drilled Fletcher with a nasty super kick.
Shelton landed some brutal belly-to-back Suplex’s, which had the crowd on their feet. But, just when Benjamin seemed to have the win, Fletcher rolled up Benjamin and held on to the ropes, with the referee not seeing it, allowing Kyle Fletcher to cheat to get the win and earn six points to lead the blue league.
