Demetrious Johnson Replies To Alexandre Pantoja’s UFC 310 Call Out
The fight is now unlikely.
Mighty Mouse Return?
UFC 310 ended with Alexandre Pantoja successfully defending his UFC Flyweight Championship against Kai Asakura. Following the bout, Pantoja called out consensus Flyweight G.O.A.T and now retired Demetrious Johnson.
Johnson retired earlier this year as the ONE Championship Flyweight Champion, and was inducted into their Hall Of Fame. The former UFC Champion has now replied to Pantoja’s callout and seemingly denied the request. He posted;
“Guys I got offered 2 million dollars to fight!! I turned it down I don’t care to fight anymore YouTube video dropping soon”
Unless UFC offers and insane money deal, it feels unlikely. We’ll keep an eye on his YouTube channel to see what more he has to say. It’s worth noting that at the UFC post-fight press conference, Dana White was asked about the call out and said “That’s interesting.”
