AEW Worlds End has an update to the card.
Adam Cole vs. Kyle O’Reilly
Last week, AEW ran their annual Dynamite Diamond Ring Battle Royal. But, it was a little different this year. The two winners of the match would then face tonight and the winner of that would get a match against MJF. Well, Adam Cole and Kyle O’Reilly won last week and then went one-on-one tonight.
The two former, possibly current friends battled tonight and you could feel the tension. O’Reilly hasn’t been happy since Roderick Strong was hurt by MJF, which he blamed Adam and the Undisputed Era for. Now, Kyle can take out his frustrations, and he did. O’Reilly was focused and in control in the early going.
As the match went on, both men had their moments. But, it was MJF who tried to interfere. Instead, MJF got super-kicked in the face by Cole. O’Reilly tried to take advantage but was rolled up and Cole won.
