SNME Goes Retro
Saturday Night’s Main Event is set for Peacock and NBC this Saturday at 8PM ET. Headlining the event is Cody Rhodes vs. Kevin Owens for the WWE Championship. Ahead of the event, something special has been teased.
WWE is going retro for Saturday’s event. Jesse Venture will be on commentary, they’re back in the building where it all began and it looks like Cody will have a classic championship belt. Triple H and Cody Rhodes did a video for social media where Triple H gave Cody a case, seemingly the size of a title, and he opens it with glee. Triple H made it clear that this is for one night only. The fans couldn’t see what was in the case, but you be the judge.
Is the winged eagle WWE championship back for one night? We’ll see Saturday!
