AEW Holiday Bash Night 2 Results & Review (December 20th, 2024)

On December 20th, 2024 AEW aired the 2nd & final night of Holiday Bash live in Washington DC inside Entertainment & Sports Arena.

Note: This review will be shorter then normal as it be the last few mins of the match.

Tag Team Match
The Don Callis Family (International Champion Konosuke Takeshita & Brian Cage) vs. Powerhouse Hobbs & Mark Davis

Mark Davis & Konosuke Takeshita hit each other with clotheslines but Takeshita connects with a knee and a Fisherman’s Buster on Davis for the win.

Winners: The Don Callis Family (12:27)

-We then head backstage and see Kris Statlander approach Willow Nightingale backstage as she’s speaking with Renee Paquette. Statlander says there’s a lot she should say to Nightingale but she wishes her luck at Wrestle Dynasty.

Tag Team Match
Action Andretti & Lio Rush vs. Myles Hawkins & Goldy

Lio Rush hits a springboard Stunner to Myles Hawkins.

Action Andretti sends him crashing into the mat for the win.

Winners: Action Andretti & Lio Rush (1:12)

-After the match AEW World Tag Team Champions Private Party confronts Rush & Andretti. Top Flight’s music hits & Rush & Andretti attack Private Party from behind before holding up their AEW World Tag Team Titles and staring down Top Flight.

-We then head backstage and see Penelope Ford approach Harley Cameron as she speaks with Renee Paquette telling her that she has her back.

Willow Nightingale vs. Harley Cameron

Harley Cameron counters into a roll up but Willow Nightingale kicks out and lands a Death Valley Driver on her.

She goes for a pin but Cameron kicks out.

Nightingale then connects with Babe With The Powerbomb for the win.

Winner: Willow Nightingale (6:43)
Rate: 6

-After the match Penelope Ford attacks Nightingale from behind and beat her down. Cameron joins in but Kris Statlander runs down to even the odds. A shocked Nightingale stares her down after Cameron & Ford retreat but before anything else can happen, Statlander slides out of the ring.

Gold League Match Of The 2024 Continental Classic
Brody King (3) vs. Komander (0)

Komander walks the ropes to hit a moonsault to Brody King’s spine.

He follows it up with a kick and looks to fly off the ropes but King catches him with Gonzo Bomb for the win.

Winner: Brody King (6) (14:51)
Rate: 7
