Bandido Suffers Concussion During ROH Final Battle Return
Bandido is hurt. Again.
ROH Final Battle
Bandido made his return this past Friday at ROH Final Battle following the Chris Jericho and Matt Cardona ROH World Title Match. Sadly for Bandido, he doesn’t have the best of luck recently.
Just coming off of the shelf, he made his return when the Learning Tree was beating down Cardona, to make the save. Bandido did a spring board drop kick immediately as he entered the ring and hit the back of his head on the mat. It was clear he was slow to get up, and a little wobbly when trying to finish the segment.
Now, Wrestling Observer Newsletter has confirmed that the luchador did get a concussion at the show following the drop kick spot.
We are told Bandido did suffer a concussion Friday night from landing on the back of his head doing a missile dropkick after the Chris Jericho win over Matt Cardona, Obviously Jericho vs. Bandido was scheduled in an ROH title match at some point. With concussions, you don’t know what it means as far as how long someone will be out of action.
Not the most ideal return to the ring for Bandido and we wish him the best of luck in his recovery.
