Update On Karl Anderson’s Recovery From Injury And New Timetable For Return
We have a Machine Gun update.
“Machine Gun” Karl Anderson has been out of action with an injury, having last worked a dark match before the October 1st, 2024 episode of WWE NXT, which saw him and Luke Gallows lose to Hank and Tank. Anderson and Gallows last appeared on television on the September 24th, episode of WWE NXT, where they also lost a match against the team of Hank and Tank.
Previously Anderson had estimated his recovery time to be around six months after undergoing shoulder surgery last month, however it appears as though he will be out of action longer than originally thought.
On a recent episode of their “Talk’n Shop Podcast” Gallows and Anderson discussed the injury, revealing that this is a “brand-new injury,” after having initially thought that Karl had re-aggravated a previously existing injury. They added that Anderson is making some progress, but that he is out of action indefinitely with a torn rotator cuff and torn labrum. He estimated that he could be out of action for at least another six or seven months.
“I am out indefinitely… I’d say at least six or seven more months with a torn rotator cuff and torn labrum.”
