Continental Classic Finals
The 2024 Continental Classic Finals were set earlier on in the night at AEW Worlds End when Kazuchika Okada defeated Ricochet, and Will Ospreay defeated Kyle Fletcher. Now, Ospreay and Okada faces each other in the finals in what was both of their second match of the night.
Kazuchika Okada was already the Continental Champion, so making it to the finals is just him defending the belt he already had. For Will Ospreay, he made it to the finals, but he had to struggle to get there. He was beaten up and badly busted open earlier in his first match of the night. So, Okada of course targeted the wounded head.
Kazuchika Okada continued to not only target the head, but also went after the knee of Will, really beating up the limbs. Yet, the resilient Ospreay continued to fight back with all he had, even laying out Okada with a cutter on the floor at one point. But, Okada wouldn’t stay down so easily. Kazuchika and Will continued to dismantle each other in some insane back and forth encounters.

Following the match, Christopher Daniels came out and congratulated Okada on his win, and said that as of today, he’s no longer an EVP for AEW, so he cannot present him the title. But, this man is an EVP… Out came the returning Kenny Omega! Omega made his way down to the ring and handed Kazuchika Okada the Continental Championship. The two had a brief stare-down with Okada holding up the championship, with the AEW Camera sneakishly showing the All In: Texas banner in the background.
