Lio Rush Steals A Win From His Own Teammate At AEW Worlds End
A whole mess of meat!
8-Man Tag Team Action
AEW Worlds End Zero-Hour’s final match of the evening before the big pay-per-view sees 8-man tag team action when Top Flight and The Outrunners take on Brian Cage, Lance Archer, Lio Rush and Action Andretti.
Lio and Andretti, who were previously friends with Top Flight, have been going back and forth with each other ever since AEW’s Dynamite Diamond Battle Royal when Rush and Andretti eliminated Darius and Dante Martin. It was very clear all four men wanted a piece of each other.
Add in four other giants and we had a cluster of a match. Top Flight and the Outrunners worked very well together in the early going, but the ruthlessness of Rush, Action, Archer and Cage gave the fan friendly team a run for their money. Especially with Don Callis getting involved.
Despite taking a bit of a beating, The Outrunners turned things around and started whooping ass. In the end, Lance Archer had Dante Martin down and out, but Lio Rush tagged himself in and stole the pin from his own partner. Rush and Andretti stared down with Private Party following the match.
