A new challenge for the former champion?

UFC is back in London England on March 22, 2025 for a Fight Night event. As of now, there is no main event for the show. But, a Welterweight challenger has made a call for one. UFC Welterweight Sean Brady competed at Fur Pro Grappling 12 tonight where he picked up submission win in his home-town Philadelphia, PA.
Following the bout, Sean Brady(17-1) took his interview time to call for a fight in the new year. He wants the former UFC Welterweight Champion Leon Edwards(22-4) in his backyard of London, England on March 22. Sean is currently on a 2 fight win streak with wins over Kelvin Gastelum and Gilbert Burns, with the latter coming in September. But, Leon Edwards has not fought since losing his title in July to Belal Muhammad.

This could benefit both men, as Leon would need a bounce back win. Plus, a win over a former champion for Sean would push him up into title contention. As of this writing, Leon has not answered the challenge.
