Tony Ferguson Aims For 2025 Fight Return
El Cucuy Return?
Tony Ferguson Is Back
Tony Ferguson, 25-11, seems dead set on fighting again, despite being on an eight fight losing streak. The former UFC interim Lightweight Champion suffered his eighth loss in a row via submission against Michael Chiesa at UFC Abu Dhabi last August. He then briefly contemplated retirement, but that seems to be off the table now.
Tony took to Instagram and wrote a message, teasing a return to the octagon. As of now, Tony is still under contract with the UFC and unless they grant a release, they’re obligated to book him a fight.

If UFC does release Tony, there’s a good chance he could end up in GFL, a new promotion filled with former UFC fighters such as Tyrone Woodley and Frank Mir. Possibly, giving Tony a better chance at snapping his losing streak. But, you’ll have to stay tuned to see exactly where Tony Ferguson ends up next.
