Gabe Kidd Airs Frustration On Being Left Off Wrestle Kingdom 19, Says They Will Understand What They Have In Him After He Beats Omega At Wrestle Dynasty

Gabe Kidd is set to face Kenny Omega at Wrestle Dynasty on January 5th, 2025, but the New Japan Star has some issues about being left off Wrestle Kingdom 19, the companies biggest show of the year.

Kidd recently spoke to Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp prior the huge weekend of events and was asked if he had any hard feelings about being left off the NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 19 card.

Gabe aired his frustration saying that they [New Japan] has “their little boys” Shota and Tsuji on both shows, and that they don’t understand what they have with him. He added that they are going to understand after this weekend when he pins Omega, “who many consider to be on of the greatest wrestlers to ever do it.”

Oh and that he considers Omega to be just another bum.

Of course I do.

This is another thing about New Japan, they don’t want to see me shine. They got all their little boys on there. Shota on both shows. Tsuji on both shows. They don’t understand what they have with me, but they’re going to understand after this weekend when I pin who many consider to be one of the greatest wrestlers to ever do it, who I consider just another bum.”

You can watch Kenny Omega’s return match against Gabe Kidd at Wrestle Dynasty on January 5th live on NJPW World & Triller TV.
