Saudi Arabia Set To Host 2026 WWE Royal Rumble

The Royal Rumble is going overseas for the first time.

When rights fees for PPVs and PLEs are at an all-time high for WWE, apparently it’s not an issue for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. According to a new report from Mike Johnson via PWInsider, the 2026 WWE Royal Rumble will be held in Saudi Arabia.

“The 2026 WWE Royal Rumble event will emanate from Saudi Arabia, PWInsider.com has confirmed with multiple sources in the company.

We are told the deal to take the event to Saudi is locked in and that an official announcement could come as soon as this Monday’s Raw Netflix premiere.

WWE is in the midst of a ten year agreement with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia that currently runs through 2028.”

The 2025 Royal Rumble is coming from Indianapolis, Indiana on February 1st.

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful has said that he is working to verify PWInsider’s report.

Update: Sean Ross Sapp was later able to confirm that the 2026 WWE Royal Rumble will indeed take place in Saudi Arabia
